Saturday 25 April 2009

blahhhh.

oh crikey, it's just been one of those days.
i don't like to fall out with people & it seems that recently i seem to have inadvertantly done that =/
fair? no, i don't think so.
cheering up is not always easy to do, but i have found that being sung oasis & 80s ballad songs over msn & watching a bit of scrubs works a treat. also, it doesn't hurt to try & sort things out, because at least then you can say you've tried.
peace out dears =)

my lovely lovely shoes.

ahhhh aren't they wonderful?! dorothy perkins, you are my hero.

general boredom.

okay, so i'm meant to be revising history right now, but really, in the whole scheme of things, what does it matter?
*
*cough* yes, i realise the future matters. but does my future really involve being able to tell people what roosevelt's alphabet agencies were for? no, i think not.
*
currently listening to a bit of damien rice & feeling in quite a chilled mood. that is what i blame for what follows;
*
what is your current obsession? avoiding revision it seems. that & the timer on my phone i use to see how much revision i have to do before my next break.
*
what do you see outside your window? generally a lot of nature. some trees, hedges & there was a pigeon but it has disappeared now. of course there's our old climbing frame & the odd car going down the road beside my house.
*
do you nap a lot? yes. a hell of a lot. i'd say on average i sleep for about 11 hours a day in the holidays.
*
who was the last person you hugged? my good friend alix, who wasn't feeling so great.
which animal would you be? ooh this is a hard question. i think i would be a giraffe, for no particular reason. either that or a humingbird, simply for the fact that i would quite like to be a brightly coloured thing.
*
what’s for dinner? god knows. i'm presuming pasta.
*
what was the last thing you bought? some lovely & amazingly gorgeous red shoes from dorothy perkins. they are quite retro-esque i think & make me feel a bit dorothy-from-the-wizard-of-ozish.
*
what are you listening to right now? the sound of the rain outside. gosh, that's quite poetic! that's just background noise mind; at this current moment i am listening to do you want to know a secret by the beatles. those guys are ace.
*
what is your favourite weather? a nice warm day. no breeze & not too much sun though, my annoyingly fair skin can't hack the heat.
*
what’s on your beside table? blue tac, 3 plectrums (red, black & white - although the red one is the father's), a christmas card & envelope, the bell from a lindt chocolate reindeer, 4 glitter glue pens (blue, pink, light & dark green), 3 japanese doll ornaments, 2 glasses (1 empty, 1 with orange juice in it), deodorant, cocunut lipbalm, an alarm clock, the world according to clarkson volume 2: and another thing by jeremy clarkson, catcher in the rye by j d salinger, double cross by malorie blackman, a long way down by nick hornby, some loose change, a lamp, a compass (a maths-type one) a protractor, my dvd player & remote, the case for my watch, the earphones for my phone (which i never use), a pencil (2B, in case you were wondering), some replacement heads for my toothbrush, my jewellery book, friends dvd box set series 6, scrubs dvd box set series 3, russell howard live dvd, michael mcintyre live dvd, a blank cd, audrey hepburn dvd collection & an empty jelly bean box which has old metro tickets & general momento-type things in it.
*
what's in your pocket right now? nothing actually.
*
if you could have a house totally paid for, fully furnished anywhere in the world, where would you want it to be? i haven't got a clue. now stop it with the silly questions.
*
where are you typing from right now? my bed.
*
what book are you currently reading? the world according to clarkson. not one of the world's most renowned pieces of literature i know, but it is funny. and i've order bob dylan's autobiography & i will definitely be reading that soon.
*
what would you like to have in your hands right now? some sketchbooks, so i don't have to get up & buy them.
*
what would you like to get rid of? prejudice, hatred, racism. guns. oh, stress & revision would be good to get rid of aussi.
*
if you could go anywhere in the world for the next hour, where would you go? ohh crikey. the world's a big place; this needs some thought. i think just somewhere sunnier. or perhaps the hairdressers.
*
what did you want to become as a child? rather worryingly, i think i wanted to be a teacher.
*
what posters/pictures do you have on your bedroom wall? kooks poster & a canvas print of the beatles. sadly, it's not much, but i do intend to stick up the massive loads of pictures i've cut out of magazines & photos of myself & others up on the walls pretty soon.
what is your plan for tomorrow? buy some sketchbooks & get my bloody art coursework sorted. also, i would like to find my history file so i can actually revise & pass these exams, but i highly doubt that's going to happen.
*
what should everyone have? morals.
*
what do you find to be an important quality in a person? integrity. also, funnyness & good taste in music.
